What is an Entrepreneur?
While there are many definitions, we arrive at the following:
Entrepreneurs assemble resources including ideas, finance and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods. Most commonly, the term entrepreneur applies to someone who creates value by offering a product or service, by carving out a niche in the market that may not exist currently. He or she is an ambitious leader who combines land, labor, and capital to often create and market new goods or services. Observers see them as being willing to accept a high level of personal, professional or financial risk to pursue opportunity.
Entrepreneurs are also the lifeblood
of any economy. Without entrepreneurs
that start companies creating
jobs and opportunities to solve
problems, where would the world
be? In these trying economic times,
we are relied upon to continue
to innovate and improve our products,
services, employees and ourselves.
History defines who we are and innovators are relied upon to dictate the future.
The Industrial Revolution lead America out of a period of great turmoil into the global economic leader it is today.
